Candlesticks
And the mountains blue we there may view of Mourne
near the sea, While the eye shall rest with fondness on the valleys of
the Dee.
There’s a spot that’s consecrated by many a holy
prayer, Thy footsteps there at evenings close shall silently
repair,
And bend above the grassy mound with reverence thy
knee, Where thy parents’ ashes lie entombed beside the
winding Dee.
