Fr. Philip Mulligan

• Fr. Philip Mulligan (1794-1809) was appointed Parish Priest of Drumconrath on 26 August 1799 on
the death of Rev. Luke McGlew. He was a native of Dunshaughlin and was translated to his home parish in1809 and died there on 17th September 1827. Fr.Mulligan was staunch in his defence of the peasant people in the 1798 rebellion while acting a s curate in Slane.
